TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - An Ohio newspaper and two of its journalists have filed complaints with the FBI after the staffers were detained and had cameras confiscated at a tank plant last week.

The Blade newspaper in Toledo, a reporter and a photographer filed the complaints on Tuesday alleging that their civil rights were violated when they were detained by military police outside the General Dynamics tank plant in Lima.

Blade reporter Tyrel Linkhorn and photographer Jetta Fraser met with an FBI agent to detail the Friday incident, the newspaper reports (https://bit.ly/1fre12m ).

The pair was detained for about an hour, and Fraser’s cameras were confiscated outside the gates of the plant. Police told them photography of any part of the plant was prohibited. Fraser was briefly handcuffed.

FBI and plant officials haven’t commented.
