ATLANTA (AP) - Director of National Intelligence James Clapper will speak at the University of Georgia after canceling a previous visit to the campus.

School officials said in a statement Wednesday that Clapper will deliver the University of Georgia Charter Lecture on April 14.

Clapper was scheduled to visit UGA last year but canceled that trip because of the federal government shutdown.

He was sworn in as the fourth Director of National Intelligence in 2010.

The lecture will begin at 11:15 a.m. in the UGA Chapel. UGA card holders can get free tickets in the Tate Student Center starting Monday.
