TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Florida State tight end Nick O’Leary will miss the rest of the spring due to injuries sustained from a recent motorcycle accident.

Coach Jimbo Fisher says O’Leary injured his ankle and was “skinned from head to toe.”

O’Leary caught 33 passes for 557 yards and seven touchdowns during the championship run last season. He was also named All-ACC second team.

This is not the first time O’Leary has been involved in a motorcycle accident. A Lexus pulled out in front of him last May and he struck the left front of the car and flipped over the hood.

Fisher says, “He needs to be frustrated, it’s not important if I’m frustrated.”

O’Leary is the grandson of golfer Jack Nicklaus.

Senior tight end Kevin Haplea moves to first string.
