Former President Bill Clinton put his humor on display on April Fool’s Day, sending into Twitter-land a parody picture of his wife’s epic photograph that was taken aboard a military airplane.

In the parody pic, Mr. Clinton is seen sitting on a military plane and reading off some kind of technological device, wearing a pair of sunglasses. And his accompanying tweet read: “I’m following my leader!”

But the image was actually a headshot of Mr. Clinton set over his wife’s Twitter profile picture. In her Twitter account, Mrs. Clinton is shown sitting on a C-17 transport craft, staring at her BlackBerry while en route to Libya, shades over her eyes. That photo hails from 2012, when she was secretary of state.

Mr. Clinton’s photo has the same people in the background, CNN reported.

And Mrs. Clinton’s response to the joke?

She tweeted the reply: “Well, that explains what happened to my iPad!”
