MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - Montana men’s basketball coach Wayne Tinkle has announced the signing of a 6-foot-8 post player from Australia.

Fabijan Krslovic (FAY’-bee-an KRIZ’-loh-vik) of St. Aloysius College, which is a high school, signed a letter of intent with Montana on Friday.

He is currently playing in the New South Wales State Basketball League, where he is averaging eight points, five rebounds and 3.2 blocked shots per game.

Krslovic has been a member of the 2013 U19 World Championship team and played for Australia’s Under 17 National Team the year before, which placed second in the World Championships.

Tinkle says Krslovic is a physical post who plays with intensity and can make shots in the paint and away from the basket.
