GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) - A Gainesville area coffee shop was created to help veterans by giving them a place to heal through work therapy.

The Gainesville Sun (https://bit.ly/1llfWpv ) reports that Outpost Coffee in north Gainesville is an idea of The Warrior Institute, which provides rehabilitation services to veterans.

The shop helps to fund the institute’s programs and provides and outlet for veterans who find it therapeutic to work there for a few hours a day.
