LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) - An industrial accident in Lancaster County has left two workers hurt.

WGAL-TV (https://bit.ly/1hUk5BU) said it happened at Kreider Mulch in Washington Boro.

Shortly after 1 p.m. Friday, officials say the two employees were operating a mulch elevator that had a mechanical failure. The accident left one man trapped.

Co-workers used a front-end loader to pry open the elevator and get the man out.

The man who was trapped was taken to the hospital for serious injuries but no additional details were available. The other employee suffered a blow to the arm but is said to be doing fine.

The names of the workers weren’t immediately released.
