JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - A public meeting is set to take place with a company hired to help the Juneau School District in a search for its next schools superintendent.

The Juneau Empire (https://is.gd/euL7VI ) says the hour-long meeting with Ray and Associates is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Dzantik’i Heeni (zahn-tah-kah-HEE’-nee) Middle School library.

At the meeting, community members will be able to say what they’d like to see in a new superintendent.

Current Juneau schools superintendent Glenn Gelbrich is resigning. His last day is June 30.
