FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - New Arkansas women’s basketball coach Jimmy Dykes has completed his coaching staff with the hiring of Chris Johnson.

The university announced the hiring Thursday.

Johnson comes to UA after serving as an assistant at TCU where he focused on recruiting, academic monitoring, scouting, game preparation and on-court coaching. Johnson previously was a high school head coach in the Houston area and was an NAIA All-American at Houston Baptist.

He joins Christy Smith and Tari Cummings on Dykes’ staff.
