HARRISON, N.J. (AP) - Marc de Grandpre is returning to the New York Red Bulls as head of commercial operations.
De Grandpre became the team’s managing director in April 2006 and left two years later. With his hiring, announced Thursday, he effectively replaces general manager Jerome de Bontin.
De Bontin was hired in October 2011 and resigned last month.
After leaving the Red Bulls, de Grandpre became head of marketing and senior vice president at KIND Snacks and chief marketing officer at IMAX.
