Anthony Weiner, whose political career took a tumble over revelations of his sexting activities — especially after he was outed the second time — clammed up when asked what he’s doing in that regard present day.
In an interview with Fusion, he talked about his life, post-politics, but dodged a bit when asked if he still sexted, Mediaite reported.
His response: “At this point in my career, I’ve earned my right to say it’s none of your business,” he said.
Mr. Weiner also tossed off tries to get him to counsel N.J. Gov. Chris Christie on the best way to deal with scandals.
“If you’re turning to me for advice on how to handle your political scandals, you know you’re in bad shape,” he said, Mediaite reported.
Mr. Weiner was forced to resign his congressional seat in 2011 for sending explicit sexual photographs over his cell phone. He tried a comeback as mayor of New York City in 2013, but then faced more public outcry after it was revealed he had sexted yet again.
