WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say 59 pedestrians were stopped during a two-week safety enforcement and education campaign conducted in Wilmington.

Troopers said Thursday that most of the pedestrians stopped from April 2 through April 11 were warned and released without charges.

Police also issued 39 citations to motorists whose driving endangered pedestrians.
