CHICAGO (AP) - Chicago police are investigating after a 14-year-old was shot multiple times on the city’s far South Side.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports (https://bit.ly/1eCLN6G ) the boy was shot in the legs and arm around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

He was taken to the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital in stable condition.

Police officials say Thursday that a 15-year-old is charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated battery. Police say he’s charged as an adult.
