US Airways announced that the employee who inadvertently sent out a picture of a naked woman posed in a sexual situation with a toy airplane in a Twitter reply to a complaining customer will not be fired.

“It was an honest mistake,” said US Airways spokesman Matt Miller, the New York Daily News reported. “We captured it, flagged it as inappropriate.”

The photograph, attached to a tweet to a woman who complained about her flight delay, was ultimately viewed by thousands after an undisclosed user re-tweeted it.

The US Airways tweet to the unhappy customer said: “We welcome feedback, Elle. If your travel is complete, you can detail it here for review and followup.” It then included a link that was supposed to go to a company form, but instead displayed the pornographic picture.

The company also issued an apology and confirmed that it was reviewing its social media processes to make sure the same doesn’t happen in the future.
