HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - A Hattiesburg man is pleading guilty to child pornography charges.

Grantham Armstrong Mitchell entered the plea Tuesday before U.S. District Judge Keith Starrett.

The 20-year-old Hattiesburg man admits to one count of production of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.

Mitchell tells the court he engaged in sexual conduct with a minor in Orange Beach, Ala., in 2012 and made a video. Officials say they also found numerous pictures and videos of child pornography on Mitchell’s computer.

Mitchell will be sentenced July 21. He faces from 15 to 30 years in prison for production of child pornography, and up to 10 years for possession.

The investigation began when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alerted authorities to pornography being uploaded to an Internet account.
