ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A new bowl is coming to Orlando.
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and officials from the Orlando Sports Foundation announced the creation of the Cure Bowl on Wednesday. The game will be held at the Florida Citrus Bowl in December 2015 and feature teams from the American Athletic and Sun Belt conferences.
Officials from both leagues were on hand with Dyer for the new bowl’s announcement.
The game will help benefit breast cancer research.
The bowl will become Orlando’s third bowl game, joining the Russell Athletic Bowl and Capital One Bowl.
