LONGMONT, Colo. (AP) - Authorities say the body of a Longmont woman has been found two days after she disappeared.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Department says the body of 31-year-old Jessica Lynn Shackelford was discovered in an alfalfa field north of Longmont.

The sheriff’s department says Shackelford left her home in Longmont on foot Saturday night after an argument with her husband. Authorities say the body was found Monday and identified on Tuesday.

The coroner says an autopsy has been completed but the investigation into the cause and manner of death is still underway.
