CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - The dean of the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia is returning to the faculty in 2015.

Dean Robert F. Bruner has been Darden dean for nearly a decade and has taught for 23 years. U.Va. announced his return to teaching Monday, saying he will first complete his second term as the school’s dean.

Bruner is the Darden School’s eighth dean and one of its longest-serving. He was an early advocate of social media, starting a popular blog in 2006. As part of the Campaign for the University of Virginia, Bruner led a team that raised $150 million for Darden and established new research centers for excellence.
