TULSA, Okla. (AP) - The American Athletic Conference says the Tulsa-Tulane 2014 football season opener will be played two days earlier than previously scheduled.
The game is now scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 28, at H.A. Chapman Stadium in Tulsa and will be the first AAC game for both Tulsa and Tulane. It was previously scheduled for Aug. 30.
Kickoff time and whether the game will be televised has not been determined.
Tulsa and Tulane have played 10 times previously with the Golden Hurricane holding an overall 8-2 series lead. Tulane won last season’s game 14-7 in New Orleans.
