SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) - A Springfield woman charged with stabbing her boyfriend because she thought he was cheating on her has been ordered held.
Latrisa Pace pleaded not guilty at her arraignment Monday to charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and intimidation of a witness.
The Republican (https://bit.ly/1n8kvHL ) reports that bail was set at $5,000, but then revoked when it was learned her latest arrest was a violation of her probation from a previous arrest.
Police say the 31-year-old Pace showed up at the victim’s apartment at about 1 a.m. Monday, and got into a heated argument during which she accused him of cheating. She then allegedly stabbed the 48-year-old victim once in the chest.
He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
