WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Wilmington Police have arrested a man passed out behind the wheel in the drive-thru of a fast food restaurant after allegedly finding a loaded gun in the car.

Officers were called to a McDonald’s drive-thru about 7:10 a.m. Saturday. Police say they found 28-year-old Tiron Warrington of Wilmington passed out behind the wheel of a car.

Officers say while trying to rouse Warrington, they saw a loaded .38 caliber revolver on the car’s floorboard.

Warrington was taken to Wilmington Hospital for evaluation and released to police custody. He is charged with possession of a firearm by a person prohibited and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
