MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Another member of the Wisconsin Assembly says he won’t seek re-election this fall.

Press-Gazette Media reported Saturday that Rep. Chad Weininger, a Green Bay Republican, has taken a job as Brown County director of administration. He’ll make $98,125 a year. He currently makes nearly $50,000 as a state representative.

Weininger says he’ll keep his state office open and donate his state salary to charity until a new representative is elected in November.

Weininger was first elected to the Assembly in 2010. A message The Associated Press left for Weininger at his state Capitol office Monday wasn’t immediately returned.

He’s the 13th Republican and 19th Assembly member overall to decide against running for re-election so far this year.
