OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Washington State Auditor Troy Kelley is in South Korea on a two-week military deployment.
Spokesman Thomas Shapley said Monday that Kelley left the state on Saturday. While working as state auditor, Kelley is also a lieutenant colonel in the National Guard and works as a JAG officer. He last served a deployment in South Korea last April.
Shapley said that in addition to his military duties, Kelley will consult with his auditor counterpart, chairman of the Audit and Inspection Commission of Jeju Special Governing Province in South Korea.
