MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - It was like Carolina-Clemson in April when hundreds of fans lined up to get autographs from the former quarterbacks for the South Carolina Gamecock and Clemson Tiger football teams at a Myrtle Beach mall.

The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reports (https://bit.ly/1sZSuUl) both Clemson’s Tajh Boyd and USC’s Conner Shaw were at the Coastal Grand Mall signing autographs Sunday.

The two NFL draft hopefuls were about 100 yards apart for simultaneous signings at two different stores in the mall. South Carolina fans filled half of the mall while those dressed in Clemson orange gathered at the other end to welcome Boyd.

Boyd called Myrtle Beach his favorite city. Shaw said he had not been to Myrtle Beach in a while and it was good to meet the fans one-on-one.
