NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a 13-year-old bystander has been wounded in a shooting on a New York City street.
Police said the victim was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition with a head injury. A man who was believed to be the intended target also was hospitalized after being struck in the leg.
The gunfire erupted at about noon on Monday in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn as the victim was walking with his aunt. She wasn’t harmed.
The gunman was still being sought.
