HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - The Hattiesburg Police Department will collect unused, unwanted or expired prescription drugs on April 26.

The Hattiesburg American reports (https://hatne.ws/1kR0XUf ) residents can bring drugs to the lobby of the police station at 701 James St. from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Police spokesman Lt. Jon Traxler says the effort is done annually in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Traxler says no one turning in their drugs will be questioned.
