DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a suspect in the stabbing death of a Daytona Beach woman was found dead in Key West.

Police say a woman parking her car in Key West spotted a body on the ground between two buildings on Sunday.

Daytona Beach Police Chief Mike Chitwood says 56-year-old Tom Tomkiewicz died of an apparent drug overdose. They’d been searching for his since Friday as a suspect in the death of his 56-year-old live-in girlfriend Ann Marie Antonaccio.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal (https://bit.ly/1hN5l2R ) reports the woman’s body was found inside her house on Thursday after friends asked for a well-being check. They say she’d been dead several days.

No further details about his death were immediately available.
