FLINT, Mich. (AP) - Crews plan to shut down part of Interstate 75 in near Flint for additional work after the roadway in the area was closed over the weekend because of fallen power lines.

The Flint Journal reports that crews plan to close northbound and southbound I-75 at Dort Highway in Genesee County at 8 p.m. Monday for more poles to be restrung with power lines. The county’s central dispatch says it expects to post updates about the work on its website.

Power lines downed by Saturday’s storms led to the closing of I-75 in both directions southeast of Flint. Most traffic was restored by Sunday evening.
