CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) - The U.S. Coast Guard says a body has been found that fits the description of a 48-year-old man who went missing from his boat off the coast of South Texas.
Coast Guard officials say their helicopter crew located the body Sunday afternoon in San Antonio Bay and then guided a Texas Parks and Wildlife Department boat crew to the location.
The man, whose name has not been released, was reported missing after someone came upon his boat in San Antonio Bay, located northeast of Corpus Christi, on Friday. The throttle on the 25-foot black-and-tan pleasure craft’s engine was still in use when the boat was found.
