BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Officials say a power line fell on a school bus as high winds raked southeastern Michigan, temporarily trapping a driver on board.

A dispatcher with police in Oakland County’s Bloomfield Township says no children were on the bus when the line fell on it Monday morning.

DTE Energy Co. spokeswoman Erica Donerson says the power company sent a crew to the scene and cut power to the line. She says the driver was able to safely get off the bus, and no one was hurt.
