CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The National Weather Service has expanded its winter storm warning in southeast and central Wyoming.

The Weather Service says heavy snow is expected to fall Saturday night and Sunday in an area that includes Casper, Cody, Lander, Laramie, Cheyenne and Wheatland. Four to 8 inches of snow is possible in lower elevations and more than a foot is possible over 7,500 feet elevation.

Up to 6 inches of snow is expected in Riverton, Sheridan, Worland, Buffalo, Gillette and Greybull where a winter weather advisory is in effect.
