EDINA, Minn. (AP) - A festival of short films celebrating woman as leaders will be held Tuesday in Edina.

Lunafest-Minneapolis starts at 7 p.m. on the night of the full moon and total lunar eclipse.

The fundraising film festival is aimed at promoting awareness of women’s issues, highlighting women filmmakers and bringing women together.

The Minnesota Peacebuilding Leadership Institute is hosting Lunafest at the Edina Cinema. Nine short films will be featured.

Proceeds benefit the Breast Cancer Fund and Peacebuilding’s Economic Diversity Tuition Assistance Fund.

Tickets cost $25 and are available online at www.lunafest.org/minneapolis.
