MIAMI (AP) - A security guard severely injured when she was trampled by gate-crashers at the Ultra Music Festival has been released from the hospital.

Ericka Mack suffered a skull fracture and a broken leg when the crowd tried to push its way into the electronic music festival in downtown Miami on March 29.

Her attorney tells The Miami Herald (https://hrld.us/1hzn57u ) that Mack is showing signs of improvement but she’s still suffering pain. Eric Isicoff says Mack has no memory of being trampled, and doctors aren’t sure if Mack’s memory will be restored.

Miami city officials are debating whether the music festival should be allowed to return. The city commission is scheduled to discuss a proposal to oust the festival from Bayfront Park at its meeting April 24.
