LONGMONT, Colo. (AP) - Police are searching for the source of alcohol after a 16-year-old girl was found abandoned by her friends in the back of a limousine with a potentially fatal 0.40 blood alcohol content.

The Longmont Daily Times-Call reported Saturday (https://bit.ly/1ngqV59 ) that 13 teenagers attended a limousine birthday party for a 14-year-old girl. Longmont Police Cmdr. Jeff Satur said they have information on who provided the alcohol but are still seeking witnesses.

Police say the limousine driver found the girl in the back of the car during a stop and called for help. The girl was hospitalized and has since told police the alcohol was in the limousine when she got in.

No adults were present for the limo party April 4 which spanned Frederick, Fort Collins, and Longmont.
