CLARK, S.D. (AP) - A boy from Clark is accused of stabbing a girl, but she survived the attack.

It happened early Tuesday at a home in Clark, which is 30 miles west of Watertown.

Authorities say the 17-year-old was arrested on one count of attempted murder, which carries a maximum punishment of 25 years in prison. He’s in jail on $250,000 bond.

The medical condition and age of the girl who was stabbed were not released.
