OPINION:
One of the many leftist, subversive mentors of President Obama was the Chicago-based American communist Saul Alinsky. Alinsky’s methods can be summed up simply: Deceive and manipulate in order to confuse and radically transform. That’s what this president is doing now.
In some ways, Mr. Obama’s behavior is like that of a mischievous child. You may have noticed that it’s difficult to keep up with him; well, constant distraction is the tactic. The idea is to keep us forever off-balance. Budget issues and illegal immigration are important issues at this time, but there is nothing being said about them. Now Mr. Obama wants to bomb Syria — and this is after he and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton went to such great lengths to cover up what actually happened in Benghazi, Libya (in all likelihood, gunrunning to the rebels in Syria).
If we weaken the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad in any way, we are aiding the radical Islamists poised to take over in that country. The survival of 1 million Syrian Christians is at stake. Look at what is happening to Christians in Egypt after the ouster of Hosni Mubarak, at the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood (church burnings, killings and rape).
What doesn’t Mr. Obama want us to know about and focus on now? He is the most deceitful and manipulative president America has ever seen. The Syria dilemma comes as Obamacare and the National Security Agency and Internal Revenue Service perfidies eat away at our very livelihoods and basic freedoms. Mr. Obama is destroying my country before my eyes, and I don’t like it.
