President Obama’s signature health care reform, Obamacare, took center stage on “Saturday Night Live” this past weekend with a seven-minute skit that mocked the law as a complicated free-for-all.
In the skit, an actor playing Mr. Obama stood at a podium and explained the touted benefits of the reform. He then called to the stage various beneficiaries to testify to their love of the law, but each, in turn, provided surprising remarks.
One said, as The Blaze reported: “I am psyched for Obamacare. Now that I have health care, I can get sick all the time.”
Another: “Mr. Obama here, he made sure my son will never have to lift a finger here to get insurance.”
And another, who was supposed to testify about the ease of enrolling in the program, actually said he failed. It was “too complicated to figure out,” he said.
