Fox News’s progressive co-host Bob Beckel railed against American Muslims on Tuesday, saying not one more mosque should be built on the nation’s soil until the the Muslim community formally denounces the massacre this week in a Kenyan shopping mall.

“I will repeat what I said before: No Muslim students coming here with visas. No more mosques being built here until you stand up and denounce what’s happened in the name of your prophet,” Mr. Beckel said. “It is not what your prophet meant as soon as I know. I don’t know his mother’s name and I don’t care. The point is, that the time has come for Muslims in this country and other people in the world to stand up and be counted, and if you can’t, you’re cowards.”

Mr. Beckel issued similar statements in July when Boko Haram Islamist militants mowed down 42 students in northern Nigeria.

“The fact of the matter is, these guys are murderers, they’re terrorists and if this is what the prophet told you to do, then the prophet was wrong,” he said. “… If it were up to me, I would not have another mosque built in this country until we got it worked out who was not a terrorist.”
