Liberal activist and billionaire investor George Soros tied the knot with health care and education consultant Tamiko Bolton in his third marriage on Saturday afternoon.

Mr. Soros, 83, and Ms. Bolton, 42, exchanged vows in a small ceremony at his Bedford, N.Y., estate, Reuters reported. A reception with more than 500 guests was held at the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts.

Guests included World Bank President Jim Yong Kim and some foreign leaders, including Hendrik Toomas Ilves, president of Estonia; Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, president of Liberia; and Edi Rama, prime minister of Albania, the report said.

From the U.S. political realm those invited included House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, both of whom are California Democrats, Reuters reported.

The couple asked that donations be made to charities in lieu of gifts, including Global Witness, Harlem Children’s Zone, National Dance Institute, Planned Parenthood and the Roma Education Fund, the report said.
