Leonardo DiCaprio is set to star as Woodrow Wilson in an upcoming biopic of the 28th president, E! News reported.

“Wilson” will draw from A. Scott Berg’s new biography of the Democrat that chronicles his two terms in office from 1913 to 1921, including his re-institution of the military draft and creation of the Federal Reserve, the report said.

Mr. DiCaprio’s production company Appian Way will produce the film.

Rumors have circulated for years that the 38-year-old award-winning actor might play Theodore Roosevelt in “The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt,” but that project never came to fruition, E! News reported.

The actor is however next slated to star in Martin Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street,” hitting theaters Nov. 15, the report said.
