Sarah Palin sent a brief yet scathing message to Twitter followers in the final hours before President Obama was due to address the nation about military strikes in Syria: Rather than bomb the Middle East country, “bomb Obamacare,” she said.

Her message only served as further fuel for Tea Party Patriots, rallying for the demise and defunding of Mr. Obama’s signature health care policy, Tuesday on the steps of the U.S. Capitol.

Breitbart.com reported that Mrs. Palin, in her tweet, linked to a video that showed Mr. Obama calling her a liar for speaking of Obamacare’s “death panels.” Other notable liberals, like television’s Keith Olbermann and Ed Schultz, mocked her in the video, too, referring to a Politifact label of the death panels as “the lie of the year” for 2009.

Mrs. Palin has since been vindicated. Other equally known liberals, like Paul Krugman and Howard Dean, have admitted that Obamacare acts as a health-care rationing regulation. In the video clip, Mr. Krugman and Mr. Dean are shown saying that Mrs. Palin was actually correct in her assessment — that the Independent Payment Advisory Board does indeed decide who receives care versus who does not. Many Democrats have since joined the call to repeal this particular aspect of Obamacare.

Her tweet: “Enough of this foreign fiasco distraction. Get back to work. It is time to bomb Obamacare.”
