Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is reportedly banned from watching football on television during his stint behind bars.

So Hernandez, who was indicted by a grand jury for the murder of Odin Lloyd last month, wasn’t watching when Tom Brady and his former Patriots teammates mounted a comeback against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, TMZ first reported.

“While Mr. Hernandez and many other inmates would like to watch football, it is just not part of our policy here … so that will not be happening,” Sheriff Hodgson of the Bristol County Jail told TMZ.

The Patriots released Hernandez on June 26 shortly after officers arrested him at his home in connection with fatally shooting Lloyd.

Hernandez is also being investigated regarding several other instances of violence, including multiple murders, in both Florida and Massachusetts.
