Viewers of Thursday morning’s “Today” show caught a glimpse of Matt Lauer wearing a busty, red swimsuit and  blond wig and bursting through a paper beach scene.

It was the third time the anchor has dressed in drag for Halloween. Mr. Lauer was Jennifer Lopez in 2001 and Paris Hilton in 2004, “Today” reported. But for this year’s annual costume fest, he was Pamela Anderson’s character, C.J. Parker, from “Baywatch.”

This year’s theme on the NBC morning show was classic TV shows.

Co-host Willie Geist dressed as David Hasselhoff’s “Baywatch” character, Mitch Buchannon; Al Roker doubled as Mr. T; Natalie Morales and Savannah Guthrie paired up as Laverne and Shirley; Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb dressed as Betty and Wilma from “The Flintstones”; and Carson Daly was featured as Larry Wilcox’s “CHiPs” character, Capt. Jon Baker, “Today” reported.
