Two Indiana University students were charged Sunday morning in connection with attacking another student at a campus apartment building in Bloomington, university police said.

Officials charged 18-year-old Zesen Shen with intimidation and battery and 21-year-old Kaiyu Lao with intimidation, university spokesman Mark Land said in a statement, according to Fox News.

Mr. Land said Mr. Shen, Mr. Lao and the 20-year-old victim were in the complex’s parking lot “to resolve a dispute when the suspects began chasing victim and wounded him with a knife,” the report said.

University police Lt. Craig Munroe told The Indianapolis Star the victim was stabbed in the back and taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The university posted on Twitter that an “armed individual” was “at large on campus” and that people should take shelter, CNN reported.

The school gave the all-clear after nearly four hours, and the lockdown was lifted at about 7:30 a.m. EDT, The Star reported.
