Nashville country music icon Dolly Parton said to her fans and followers in a Monday tweet that she’s fine following a car crash at an intersection, despite injuries and a transportation to the local Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

“I was in a fender bender this morning, here in Nashville,” the 67-year-old singer wrote to her Twitter followers. “But I am all good. Just a little tired and sore, resting at home.”

Police faulted the driver of the other vehicle, Diane Lish, 64, for failing to yield to Ms. Parton’s SUV, CNN reported.

Ms. Lish was also taken to the hospital — a different one — for treatment, emergency responders said.
