Apparently, bison hate government shutdowns, too.

One Wyoming beast, confronted with the road barricade to a federal property, leaned its massive frame against the beam and toppled it to the ground.

The property in question was next to the Gros Ventre road, about a mile north of Kelly, Wyo., according the caption information for the YouTube video.

The video opens with two of the animals nosing up against the barricade, which is already half-torn to the ground. One wanders off-screen while the other sidles closer, leans in heavily, and pushes until the plank falls. It then stands amid the debris and surveys the damage for several seconds, while off-camera voices laugh.

The video ends with the second bison entering the federal property that had been zoned off just moments earlier.
