British police arrested a man with a knife outside London’s Buckingham Palace on Monday, accusing him of trying to illegally enter the palace grounds.
The 44-year-old man, whose name was not released, was arrested for trespassing on a protected site and possession of an offensive weapon, and remained in custody Monday afternoon, CNN reported.
Just last month, a man scaled a security fence to enter the palace. Two men were arrested on that day — one on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary, and the other accused of burglary, trespass and criminal damage, CNN reported.
