So Hollywood leftist Alec Baldwin kicked off his premiere news talk show on MSNBC this weekend — and his signature temper tantrum-type personality kicked in quickly, with put-downs of New York’s police as lazy lawbreakers with racist tendencies.
His first guest on “Up Late With Alec Baldwin” was none other than Democratic Party mayoral candidate Bill de Blasio, The New York Post reported. And the two were in sync on the problems with the city’s police.
“Stop-and-frisk, to me, seems lazy,” Mr. Baldwin said, in The Post report.
Mr. de Blasio’s reply: “I really appreciate that analysis because it’s a tough city and a tough city to police.”
The Post reported that Mr. Baldwin also used his hour show to blast Mr. de Blasio’s Republican contender, Joe Lhota.
Mr. Baldwin also waxed philosophical on his views of women, telling his national audience that he thought at times that God was speaking to him about his future wife.

“I always tell my friends, I remember during my lifetime I would meet women. It was almost like God would say to me, ’This is not the one you’re going to end up with. She’ll be a lot like this one. Study this woman. She’s smart and caring so take a good look at her. Someone like this will be put in your life 10 years later,’ ” he said, The Post reported.
Prior to the show’s launch, MSNBC President Phil Griffin reportedly told Mr. Baldwin to watch his tweets — to keep them neutral and non-controversial, The Post reported. But here are some of his tweets: Mr. Baldwin called Weekly Standard editor William Kristol “sanctimonious,” and blasted his fellow MSNBC host Joe Scarborough for “barking at his guests [a la Sean] Hannity-esque Catholic-school gym-teacher style.”
