Uniforms for the 2013 Army-Navy game were unveiled Monday by Nike, with designs meant to evoke the history of both service academies.
Both designs are inspired by figures from the War of 1812, according to a Nike press release, with Navy’s paying tribute to Capt. James Lawrence’s famous “Don’t give up the ship” edict and Army’s dedicated to Gen. Winfield Scott.
The academies will face off Dec. 14 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, the 114th meeting in their history.
