Italy’s Silvio Berlusconi called ring leader of ‘bunga bunga’ sex parties

Silvio Berlusconi, the former prime minister of Italy, has been accused in court documents of being the ring leader of “bunga bunga” sex parties held at his villa — the man behind the order for young women to perform pole dances and strip teases in front of select invited.

Mr. Berlusconi could be expelled from his Senate seat as early as next week over a conviction on tax fraud in a separate legal case, Reuters reported. For that, along with accompanying charges of paying for sex with a minor during his infamous parties, he received a jail sentence of seven years.

But newly released court documents show that the beleaguered politician, 77, may also have ordered other women at his parties to engage in the sexual shows.

“It is proven that the director of the young women’s sexual performances was Berlusconi himself,” court documents said, Reuters reported. The court also said Mr. Berlusconi chose when to start “the so-called ’bunga bunga’ in which female guests worked to satisfy the desires of the defendant, that is to ’make him feel bodily pleasures’ … performing pole dances, striptease, dressing in disguises and fondling each other.”

The court documents also say that Mr. Berlusconi knew that the underage girl he had sex with was 17. In Italy, the legal age for prostitution is 18, Reuters reported.

For his part, Mr. Berlusconi said the evening events were “elegant dinners.” He’s appealing the court’s finding, Reuters said.
